Aspen Inn

Great room for a great price! We stayed at Aspen Inn during a road trip along the Volcanic Scenic Byway on our way to Crater Lake. While we only stayed one night, we had a good experience. The owner was very kind when we checked in, and the grounds were beautiful. We had a spacious room (not the cabin) that had basic amenities: shampoo+conditioner combo, body+face bar soap, and the aforementioned rags for your outdoor gear. During our stay it was hot weather so we had the AC running - the AC was quite loud, but there were earplugs provided. All in all, Aspen Inn was a great place to stay!

Beautiful spot! Really really happy to have found this gem, and now I wish we stayed here for 2 nights instead of 1. Nice access to and from Crater Lake NP, and it’s located in a gorgeous valley. The inn itself is run by the nicest sweetest people, and the attention to detail is astounding. I’m seriously impressed and extremely happy with our stay. As a bonus, the big A frame we stayed at was stinkin’ cute but also very well thought out and was such a treat. Thank you Aspen Inn! Looking forward to the next stay with you!

The Aspen Inn was a fantastic find and a highlight of our trip to Crater Lake! We were warmly welcomed by Heidi. She gave us a great overview of the area upon checkin and provided us with tips that saved us a great deal of time allowing us to more fully explore the area. It's obvious that the owners take a great deal of pride in their facility. We stayed in an "A" frame and it was basic but clean and comfortable.

the perfect place for us to stay while exploring crater lake national park! we had an amazing time staying here. the room was clean and the A frame cabin was perfect for the two of us. we would recommend to anyone and will absolutely be staying here again if we find ourselves in this area!

I stayed at the A-frame cabin for one night. Everything was very clean and well kept. The cabin had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine, which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The room itself was spotless and cozy. The owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She even gave us a recommendation for a Mexican restaurant in the city of Chiloquin, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was also very convenient, only about a 25-minute drive to the entrance of Crater Lake National Park. Overall, it was a clean, cozy cabin with a kind host and a great location. I would definitely recommend it.

What a cute motel! I booked this place for a quick trip to Crater Lake, and the photos online looked a bit rundown, but I booked it anyway because it was a good price. I was more than impressed after visiting, and the online pictures did not do it justice. I stayed in one of the "motel rooms" and it was so cute and vintage. It was obviously built probably in the 60s and had a lot of original features, but it was incredibly well kept and had many amenities like a window A/C unit and heater, microwave, mini fridge, and power strips for charging. The ladies that ran the motel were incredibly kind and personable, and made the stay that much better. It was very very quiet here which was great, and was only a 40 minute drive from Cleetwood Cove at Crater Lake. If I'm ever in the area again, I would love to stay here.

This place was one of the highlights of our trip for ages 6-76. The owners were so sweet & helpful. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into this special place. The rooms were simple, but very clean and comfortable. Our family loved hanging out and playing the yard games out front & you simply can’t beat the proximity to Crater Lake NP. After 2 nights, none of us were ready to leave. Take a chance on this place. Trust me, you won’t regret it. We can’t wait to find a reason to return.

Wonderful space, owners are lovely. Rooms very clean, and we enjoyed the swing set. Easy to get to various destinations.

My friends and I stayed here in September and were very happy with the accommodations. Heidi greeted me by name and had already set up the sofa bed so we all had our own bed! We felt so welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. The kindness of the people here is extraordinary! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I planned a last minute visit to Crater Lake this summer and landed on a room here. The staff in the front office were so friendly and personable, the room was adorable and the outdoor area was equally cute. We were both a little nervous with how desolate the area was and didn’t know what to expect, but they made it feel very homey and welcoming. Would book again. It’s very conveniently close to the south entrance for crater lake.
